We developed a major destination promotion project for Mauritius in Brazil, aimed at increasing awareness and inspiring Brazilian travellers to discover the destination. The project included the creation of a comprehensive Portuguese-language destination guide, a press conference attended by the then Minister of Tourism, and a week-long programme of activities in Brazil involving the national tourism organisation and the Minister, with a focus on engaging the media, travel trade and key opinion leaders.

One of the highlights was an exclusive dinner at the Fasano Hotel in São Paulo, bringing together Brazilian celebrities and media personalities. The event generated extensive media coverage and helped raise the visibility of Mauritius among Brazilian travellers.

The Mauritius Tourism Authority is the official regulatory and licensing body for the island’s tourism industry, located at Victoria House on Saint Louis Street in Port Louis
